To protect the Bambari 2023 exercise, which implements “ flights of state aircraft without crew on board », 8 Temporary Restricted Zones have been created. 7 of them concern drones, they take the form of circular zones 7,4 km in diameter.
When?
To simplify, these ZRTs can be activated from December 4 to 13 all day. When active, they are prohibited from drone flights and model aircraft activities. To find out more about the exact activation dates and times, refer to SUP AIP 216/23.
